Japanese Garden, Huntington Library

1981 Kodachrome
The moon bridge, commissioned by Huntington, was built by Japanese craftsman Toichiro Kawai. http://www.huntington.org/JapaneseGarden/ Why is the Japanese RED (as shown above) gone? Politics - now the scale is tilted toward the Chinese tourists.

Making Metal Tea Kettle in Japan (NHK)

Obviously, this kettle will out last you and me.

Saw this documentation last night and today.
Complied these pictures by shooting the TV screen
during 3 separate times of NHK broadcasting.

急火快炒 (Ethiopian way of roasting)5th try

Very good taste - probably can't be much better than this.
These are some Brazil bean my college classmate saved for me from last year.
They are on its way to Lafayette, CA for my auntie to brew.
I said it before and would not hesitate to repeat.
This coffee cup set of 6 was purchased in Champaign, Illinois in my graduate school days.
This has a rich body and nice aroma with some hint of acidity.
I poured the brew from the Hario glass over a tea drainer which is positioned right above
this coffee cup. This cup is also well insulated (chemical engineer's way of doing things).
Practice! Practice! Practice! (the way to Carnegie Hall)
As you see, color is pretty even. This has something to do with the French (cast iron) pan.
